Faith communities are assisted in the development of health programs in their congregations by The Conference training individuals to become health ministers. Health ministries provide health screenings, seminars, referral services, advocacy and wellness activities. Under this umbrella we currently have:
- The Heart Stroke Project: Seminars in faith communities on cardiovascular health and stroke prevention. Click to download brochure PDF.
- Universal Health Care Advocacy Project: Engaging people in advocacy for health care for everyone. Through this initiative people are reached through seminars, special events, media campaigns and community organizing in an effort to shape Connecticut public policy.
